Administrator
Kimberly Bequette serves as the Administrator of Citadel, because she is uniquely qualified to ensure that our residents are cared for and loved.
Kim came to us as the assistant administrator first, choosing to close her small business of child day care and take on the job at Citadel. As her experience and knowledge increased, we were fortunate to have her accept the position of Administrator when the prior officer retired.
She was instrumental in overhauling decades-old practices that hindered Citadel from prospering, and now we serve as an example in our field for what a loving, vibrant group home should be.

Kim has a perspective she brings to the job of Administrator that many can't match. She is the mother to a child born with Down's Syndrome. She has raised her son to be an engaging, vivacious member of society who is an ambassador for the Special Olympics and she brings that same encouragement and support to all our residents. We have folks who didn't speak or interact when they came to us who now participate in activities and can express their emotions in a healthy and robust fashion. Under Kim's leadership, our residents have grown and blossomed and we appreciate her so much!
